This month, we were delighted to announce that InHealth Ventures has led a £7m Series A round in Healios, the UK’s leading online therapy platform for children and young people with mental health and neurodiverse conditions.

Since launching in 2013, Healios has transformed how children and young people access therapy services in the UK. The company works with over 65% of NHS Mental Health Trusts to provide clinician-led, expert care to children and young people living with conditions such as anxiety, low mood, autism and ADHD, as well as support to their families. So far, more than 70,000 specialised clinical sessions have been delivered through Healios.

At InHealth Ventures, we’re always looking for founders who are solving painful, pervasive healthcare challenges. And we’re also looking for companies who understand the complexities and obstacles involved in scaling these innovations in the complicated world of healthcare. Healios is a perfect example of a business that meets both of these vital criteria.

Overall, Healios stood out to us as a company already making a huge impact on the UK healthcare landscape and one which, with additional capital behind them, is ideally placed to deepen this impact in Britain as well as expand its reach to new markets.

We’re delighted to announce this investment and we’re looking forward to working closely with the Healios team as they accelerate their growth and support more children and young people with their vital mental health provision.
