Fiona Rooney

Fiona is a lawyer with wide-ranging experience in private practice and in-house advisory roles. A graduate of Cambridge University, she qualified and spent a decade at Clifford Chance London followed by roles in manufacturing and technology industries and local government. Since 2018 Fiona has focused on healthcare as Group Counsel for the InHealth Group.

Using her experience in M&A, financing and IP & commercial deal-making, Fiona is interested in how start-ups can achieve success in healthcare transformation by optimising their commercial operations from an early stage. Fiona looks for companies that not only have great ideas but the vision and ability to scale from solid foundations. Fiona plays a key role in supporting the growth of InHealth Ventures’ portfolio companies; having sat at the other side of the table, she is an invaluable resource to founders managing complex negotiations or navigating their route to a successful exit.
